DESCRIPTION:\nThis training is to become a fully trained Forest school leader, you will learn all the skills and theory you need to be able to deliver forest school sessions in your setting. The training will be\n\nForest school level 3, credit value 18, guided learning hours 155/total qualification time 18, minimum age 21.\nThis training requires an initial week training, learners will then be required to complete a portfolio. Towards the end of the training there will be an assessment week with dates to be confirmed but will be around April/May next year. You will be required to attend some evening zoom calls and online tutorials.\nYou will also be required to delivery 6 forest school sessions with children, please ensure you have a current DBS. We can support you with this if you don’t currently work with groups of children.\nOur tutor has over 10 years experience of running forest school with many different groups and is extremely knowledgeable about setting up and running forest school sessions. We also offer learners an encouraging, supportive learning environment.\nCost of course £950, can be paid in\ninstalments.\nEntry requirements; experience of working with children,\nexperience of leading groups, be able to run 6 forest school\nsessions in a woodland with learners.
