This qualification enables learners to gain the skills and knowledge required to plan and lead Forest School programmes. AIM suite of Forest School qualifications has been developed with the support of the Forest School Association and specialists in Forest School delivery and training.\n\nAIM Level 3 Certificate for Forest School Leaders provides learners with the knowledge and skills required to support individuals in Forest School programmes and outdoor learning. This qualification enables learners to gain the skills and knowledge required to plan and lead Forest School programmes. AIM suite of Forest School qualifications has been developed with the support of the Forest School Association and specialists in Forest School delivery and training.\n\nThis qualification is designed to develop leadership, facilitation, practical and teaching skills to enable learners to understand the principles and ethos of Forest School. It also enables learners to deliver Forest School programmes. It is designed to meet the needs of school and college staff, teachers and teaching assistants, youth workers, adults and professionals in training to become a Forest School Leader. This qualification will prepare learners for further study and employment in the outdoors.\n\nCourse structure 1 week initial training week. 1 week assessment week towards the end of the course. Delivery of 6 forest school sessions. Completion of a forest school portfolio. Participating in a range of zoom meetings.\n\nCost of course £900, can be paid in 5 instalments/invoice. Please email for more details on how to pay.\n \nEntry requirements; experience of working with children, experience of leading groups, be able to run 6 forest school sessions in a woodland/wooded area with learners. This means insurance, site and first aid must be in place.\n\nInitial training dates -28th Oct,18th Nov, 9th Dec , 27th Jan and 24th Feb, 10- 5 pm must attend all 5 dates.\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n
