Completing My Wilderness Therapy Level 3 – Taking Forest Flow to the Next Level

I’m thrilled to share that I’ve recently completed the Wilderness Therapy Level 3 qualification training — a journey that has been as enriching personally as it is professionally. 🌿

This training has given me deeper insight into how nature can heal, guide, and empower young people who are struggling to find their place in traditional education. Over the course, I learned not just techniques, but how to truly connect, listen, and walk alongside each child on their own journey.

Through forest school principles and therapeutic outdoor practice, I’ve learned how to:

  • Create safe spaces where young people feel seen and understood
  • Guide emotional growth through reflection and connection with nature
  • Tailor experiences that build confidence, resilience, and self-worth
  • Navigate challenges with care, patience, and creativity

Completing this qualification feels like a milestone — a tangible step toward offering even more impactful, compassionate, and life-changing experiences through Forest Flow. It’s a reminder of why I do this work: to help young people discover their own strength, calm, and sense of belonging, one step at a time, beneath the trees.

I can’t wait to bring these skills into every 1:1 session, helping each child reconnect with learning, themselves, and the world around them. Watching the moment a young person blossoms in confidence or finds peace in the outdoors is why this journey matters so deeply.

If you’re a parent, teacher, or school looking for nature-based support to help a child thrive, I’d love to talk to you about how Forest Flow can make a difference.
