Course Overview
Our Level 1 Award in Forest School Ethos and Principles is a nationally recognised qualification designed to introduce you to the key concepts behind Forest School. This three day course is perfect for anyone interested in nature-based learning, child development, and outdoor education.

What You’ll Learn:

• The history and principles of Forest School

• The benefits of outdoor play and holistic learning

• The role of the adult in a Forest School setting

• Basic safety and risk awareness outdoors

• A taster of practical Forest School activities (e.g., shelter building, natural crafts)

• Access to our online learning platform for uploading work.

Who Is This Course For?

• Teachers, early years practitioners, and teaching assistants

• Parents, carers, and volunteers

• Youth workers and community educators

• Anyone curious about Forest School or outdoor learning

Course Details:

• Duration: 2.5 day face to face (approx. 8 hours)/ half a day online learning

• Location: Norris Green Park, Liverpool

• Awarding Body: AIM Qualifications

• Minimum Age: 16+

• No prior experience required
