Young people’s John Muir award at Rimrose valley. Cohort 1
We are running a John Muir Discovery award at Rimrose valley for local young people to gain a conservation certificate.
Young people need to commit to 24 hours of exploring, conserving, sharing and discovering a wild space. Young people will spend 16 hours in the forest taking part in activities with us/8 hours self led. We will provide some activity ideas on what to do in the self led hours.
The dates for the forest school sessions are – 23rd of Aug, 17th of Sept, 15th of Oct, 5th of Nov 10:30-2:30 (parents don’t need to stay.) Young people will need to attend all 4 sessions to achieve the award as they will need to commit to 24 hours.
For children aged 8-14 years old.
